Bliss

Bliss is not something to be got.

On the other hand you are always Bliss.

This desire [for Bliss] is born of the sense of incompleteness.

To whom is this sense of incompleteness?

Enquire. In deep sleep you were blissful.

Now you are not so.

What has interposed between that Bliss and this non-bliss?

It is the ego.

Seek its source and find you are Bliss.

The last Mantra of Rig Veda

The last Mantra of Rig Veda emphasizes the unity and harmony of entire humanity,

“Samani vha aakutihi, samana hrudyani vha, samanam astu vo mano, yatha vha su saha asti.”

“Let your aims be one, let your hearts be one, let your minds be one, and let your unity go from strength to strength”

Nurturing to Deserve

By Nurturing something, you earn the right to reap the benefits from it.

Nurturing a Plant, a Family or a Nation is all equally challenging and interesting. Choose the one that gives you Happiness today.

Directional Relevance

Wanting Things is a form of Misery.
Happiness in Western Culture is about wanting something & getting it. But Craving is never ending. So, as long as we look at Western Culture as the model of Growth, our sufferings will persist. And to change our direction of Growth in today's globalized world is like steering a 40 feet truck for a U-turn.  It can happen when all beings including Humans can collectively work towards it!
Happy Ugadi 2017!
